Hi, I’m Leanne!

I’m a counsellor and psychotherapist passionate about helping people of all ages navigate life’s complexities with creativity, collaboration, and care. My approach is flexible and tailored to each individual, focusing on building confidence and empowering unique voices.

I love integrating expressive modalities like art, music, and play to help clients of all ages process emotions and experiences—especially young people, where creativity can be transformative. With a background in theatre studies and years of experience teaching gymnastics, I bring a playful, energetic, and engaging presence to my work.

I use evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and the Gottman Method for relationship counselling. I also incorporate mindfulness and narrative therapy to help clients create empowering new stories from old hurts.

My work is deeply informed by personal experiences with childhood trauma, addiction, and overcoming challenges in male-dominated workplaces, including workplace bullying. These experiences fuel my commitment to trauma-informed care and fostering self-compassion and acceptance as pathways to change.

I’m here to support individuals of all ages and backgrounds, whether facing depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, or life transitions. My goal is to be that person in your corner, offering understanding, tools, and a safe space to work through whatever feels overwhelming, so you can move toward meaningful change.

Leanne is based in our Gawler clinic on Mondays and Tuesdays and Salisbury clinic on Fridays and works with clients face-to-face and online around Australia.

Leanne provides some after-hours appointments.
